Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2, 2026
Marin Annuity Group ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you submit our weekly-rate-update form on Facebook or Instagram, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
When you submit our Instant Form on Facebook or Instagram, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
We do not collect phone numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or any personally sensitive information beyond the two fields above.
We may also receive technical metadata that Facebook and Instagram automatically attach to lead submissions (e.g., the ad you saw, the placement, the geographic region). We do not link this metadata to your identity beyond what is necessary to deliver our weekly email.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Send you our weekly email containing current top guaranteed-rate savings products and CD rates from A-rated insurance companies and major banks.
- Respond if you contact us directly with questions.
- Improve the content and frequency of our weekly email based on aggregate engagement (open and click rates).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not call you unless you explicitly ask us to.
Service providers we use
We use the following service providers to operate the weekly email:
- Resend — sends the weekly email and tracks aggregate opens and clicks.
- A managed Postgres database — stores your name, email, and email-engagement metrics (opens, clicks).
- Slack — internal team notification when a new subscriber joins.
These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and process your information solely to enable the weekly email service.
Retention
We retain your information for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe (one-click link in every email), we retain your email address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again, and delete the rest of your record within 30 days.
Your rights
If you are a resident of the United States, you have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information (subject to the suppression-list retention noted above).
- Opt out of our weekly email at any time, with one click in any email we send.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you these additional rights:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected and how we use it.
- The right to request deletion of your personal information.
- The right to opt out of any sale of your personal information (we do not sell personal information).
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at the contact address below.
